Easy Methods to Data Wipe, then, Donate to Your Favorite Charity

iPhone Data Wipe Instructions:

1. Tap “Settings.”
2. Tap “General.”
3. Tap “Reset.”
4. Tap “Erase all Content and Settings”
5. Tap “Erase iPhone”

Most newer iPhones should wipe all data after just a couple of minutes. Some considerably older models (probably iPhone 3G or older) may take quite a bit longer.

Blackberry Data Wipe Instructions:

1. Select “Options” from the home screen.
2. Select “Security” or “Security Options” depending on the operating system version you are running.
3. Select “Security Wipe” or “Wipe Handheld” again depending on your os.
4. Enter “blackberry” as the password.
5. Select “Wipe” or “Enter” to confirm.

Most Blackberry devices will take several minutes to wipe all data.

Windows Mobile Data Wipe Instructions:

1. Click on the “Start” menu.
2. Select “Settings.”
3. Select “Clear Storage” or “Hard Reset.”
4. Enter “1234” as the password.
5. Select “Yes” to confirm.

General (Other) Devices Data Wipe Instructions:

1. Locate the “Settings” menu.
2. Locate an option called “Master Reset,” “Data Wipe,” “Memory,” or “Clear.”
3. If a password is required, try “1234” or “0000.”
4. If those passwords don’t work, contact the manufacturer of the cell phone for either the correct password or further instructions.
