Oh no!  I dropped my phone in the water…How do I save it?

We get this question a lot.  How do I save my cell phone from becoming just a paperweight after dropping it in water.  No, you don’t have to send it to a technician or toss it in your drawer to be lost forever.  Saving your phone is actually easier than you think.

The Easy Way To Dry Wet Cell Phone With Rice!!

STEP 1

 – Remove battery and SIM if your phones uses one.  

– To help with the phone drying, wipe off any excess liquid.

 

 

 

 

 

STEP 2

-Place the phone in a bag of uncooked rice overnight or at least 8-9 hours.  

STEP 3

–After your phone has sat in the rice for hours, remove and wipe off any rice.  Insert battery and SIM, if your phone needs one, and your phone should be ready to be used again.
