Donate Cell Phones: Who’s Using My Cell?

It’s a good question, and the short answer is: Someone who needs it.

When you donate cell phones, in “gently used” condition they’re cleaned up, tweaked to bring them back to full working order, and then they might be passed along to people in need—like victims of domestic violence who rely on their cell phones to be the only safe, private way to stay in contact with people they trust.

Let us put that another way: The cell phone you used to text your friends, play solitaire, or take selfies could become the cell phone that saves someone’s life.

We’ll wait a second for that to sink in, because it’s a big concept and we’re not done yet…
